Every year on 8 June the wonders of the ocean and its life is celebrated. Around the world, various conservation organisations, aquaria and businesses organise special events to raise awareness for the ocean on World Ocean Day. This year, Morganonline celebrates this special day on television.
In the weekend of 7 and 8 June, Morganonline’s film ‘Ocean Invasion’ will be screened on Goed TV, a national digital cable television station in the Netherlands. For viewers in the Netherlands, the broadcasts will be on Saturday 7 june and Sunday 8 june at 16:00 and 22:00 respectively. In the following weeks the documentary will be broadcast a few more times. The film looks at the ecological breakdown as a result of colonisation by a single species, and shows what two businesses are successfully doing to promote their interests by protecting the marine environment.
